Dohr started business as a response to a major challenge that a client faced. During the summer of 2020 a Los Angeles area developer had received a container full of custom doors from Italy. Do to COVID 19 The door order had arrived months late and the installation team was unable fly in. The home was wallpapered, painted and ready for final inspection. We accepted the challenge.

 

During the installation process we solved several problems associated with these European doors and the end result was stunning! The developers were impressed and had another challenge for us. The were building another 30,000 foot custom contemporary home and wanted similar modern style doors. We designed, fabricated and installed these doors on time and within budget. This time the developers were more than impressed, and suggested we focus on this product.

 

Thus Dohr was born, with the primary goal of offering modern door solutions to the high end client.
